The annual inspection of emergency lighting is mandatory. This is stipulated in the 2012 Building Code and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. It is required that people must be able to evacuate at all times. This can only be ensured if the emergency lighting functions properly and is maintained. Therefore, we follow a one-year maintenance interval in line with the ISO 79 inspection guideline and the NBN-EN 50172 standard.
